The qualification is designed principally for those who are, or intend to be, food handlers working in the food industry. It is also appropriate for those providing services to the food industry including pest control operators, maintenance engineers, cleaners, and laundry and delivery personnel.
Achievement of this qualification will enable learners to identify how to make changes to food industry practices in order to improve the safety of food operations.
Designed for those food handlers who prepare or handle open high risk foods and forms part of your Food Hygiene Rating from the Local Authority.
